How to play
A daily code-breaking logic puzzle
Verity Vault is a short deduction game: six savings symbols are available, four belong in today’s Vault, and order matters. Every clue narrows the possibilities without revealing the answer.
Each clue shows four symbols. Exact means a symbol is correct and already in the right position. Misplaced means it belongs in the Vault but sits in the wrong position.
Choose four different symbols and crack the Vault. A wrong key becomes a new clue. The fewer wrong attempts and hints you use, the higher your Vault Score.
Everyone receives the same daily Vault, so your spoiler-free result can challenge a friend fairly. Solving also reveals one current CouponVerity Deal Drop when eligible public data exists.
Strategy
Three ways to crack the Vault faster
- Start with the clue that has the most total hits.Add Exact + Misplaced. A high total tells you which symbols are worth keeping.
- Compare clues that change only one symbol.If the feedback changes, that swap tells you whether the removed or added symbol belongs in the Vault.
- Lock Exact positions before rearranging Misplaced symbols.Do not move a position you have already proven unless another clue contradicts it.

Is there a new Verity Vault every day?
Yes. One deterministic puzzle is generated from the UTC calendar date, so everyone receives the same daily Vault.
What do Exact and Misplaced mean?
Exact means the symbol belongs in the answer and is already in the correct position. Misplaced means the symbol belongs in the answer but needs to move to another position.
Do I need an account?
No. Your streak, personal best score and tutorial state are stored only in your browser. CouponVerity does not require an account to play.
Does Verity Vault use real coupon codes as the secret?
No. The secret uses generic savings symbols so the puzzle never exposes, invents or changes a merchant coupon code. Real public Store and Offer data is kept separate.
Are Deal Drop coupons real?
The Deal Drop reads only Offers that already pass CouponVerity’s current public display rules. The game does not invent coupon codes, verification claims, discounts or expiry dates.
